On HGTV demo always looks like the funnest part of remodel - wrong! At this point, it's our least favorite.This weekend we each logged about 20 hours of demolition. Levi began removing the popcorn ceilings in the dining area and kitchen area while Jen removed the carpet from the family room, formal living room, hallways and office. Jen took over for Levi and removed the popcorn ceilings from the formal living room and family room while Levi removed the parquet and under layer of linoleum from the kitchen and dining area. We also did a first round patch job on a chunk of cement that came up with the linoleum.
Favorite part so far - removing the popcorn ceiling, it's messy but full of instant gratification!
Least favorite part so far - climbing to the top step of the 15ft ladder to do anything on the vaulted portions of the ceilings.
